Meeting called to order 7:04pm
*Introductions: We started our meeting with a fun ice breaker.
*Meeting minutes: from November 20th, 2024, were read and approved by Elizabeth 2nd by Jim.
*Treasurer Report: Read and approved. See attached.
*2025 Financial Goals:
~We discussed how we can utilize the club house and how it is used to bring our community together. We have bins of historical documents, a bit of a time capsule that Robert will look through to research information on the club house deed.
We are not an HOA.
Goal for 2025 is to have 125 family memberships.
Financial goal is set at $5000.00/year just to keep the building in operating condition. Open to ideas on how to engage with neighbors who want to be an active part of our community.
Income from rentals is approximately $1000/month and $10,000/year.
We are currently saving for front and back door replacement.
*Membership Dues:
Dues are $40/family or $20/Individual. By paying annual dues you are able to rent the club house at a discounted rate.
Talked about how we are a lot more diverse today than in the history of our community. Stats were read from our school district on how many languages are spoken in our community.
We are gathering names and addresses in order to communicate with our community via newsletters and in case of a widespread emergency. Geographic areas have been divided up for volunteers to gather that information.
Inclusive not intrusive.
*Club House Rentals:
~We have a full list of rentals for the next few months. We are not advertising for rentals but we are full almost every weekend. We are on google. Our website is lakestickneycc.org most of our rentals are word of mouth.
~Would like to integrate our calendar that’s on our website to show rental dates are available or not. (Wix?)
